AACFT is focused

Currently in the early stages of its
development, AACFT intends to become a new kind of
organization for professionals in the field of child
and family therapy. Because healthy families
are so critical to the health of society, and
because children represent the future of society, AACFT believes that
the importance of your work is second only to the
work of family members themselves.
AACFT is not driven by the
constantly shifting winds of political correctness,
nor do we operate in ignorance. We support
research-driven ideas that help children and
families reach their highest potential. Our
goal is to provide a place for professionals to
increase their effectiveness with children and
families.

currently free. The organization is designed
primarily as a mean of association for child and
family professionals. If in the future, a
majority of members expressed a desire to expand the
scope of the organization and its services,
